I am an Emergency Physician based for the last 30 years at the Royal Perth Hospital, a busy city centre institution which is the Trauma Centre for the state of Western Australia, the biggest province in the world. I was born in Perth, but grew up in New Guinea, and qualified as a FACEM in 1990. I am a senior examiner for the Australasian College, and I now also work half time as Professor of EM based at St John of God Hospital, Murdoch. I have special interests in teaching, trauma, and Ultrasound. I completed sub-specialty training in Ultrasound in 2007. Like a lot of Australian EP’s, I love to ride my bike, and I love to travel (not that there will be much of that in the Covid era!)
