I am an Australia-trained Emergency Physician, currently working in regional Australia. Originally from Norway, I chose Emergency Medicine for the variety and travel opportunities that it provides. I have special interests in palliative medicine, diving and hyperbaric medicine, and quality improvement projects that focus on what goes right in the ED. I am a reluctant expert on access block. When I am not at work, you will usually find me standing on something tall in a National Park, in the ocean trying to outswim the sharks, performing cartwheels as I fly off a surfboard, or in my kayak watching the world slip by.
