As a Dutch Emergency Physician, having previously worked in the Dutch Royal Navy as Search and Rescue doctor on the Lynx helicopter, I came to the UK in 2013 to gain more experience in Emergency Medicine. It was an instant match and I’ve not managed to leave as of yet! I feel extremely lucky and honored to be working both in “A&E” at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton and with Kent Surrey Sussex Air Ambulance. If I’m not at work you are likely to find me at sea while practising my skills as crewmember with the Brighton RNLI Lifeboat!
After being part of the original Masterclass committee and following the first Cardiovascular and Respiratory MC, I am delighted to once again be part of this enthousiastic team of EM docs.
