Marcel Canoy is endowed professor in Health Economics at the department of Ethics, Governance and Society of the School of Business and Economics of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Beside his work for the Vrije Universiteit Marcel works for the Dutch National Healthcare Institute (Zorginstituut) and the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM). He also writes columns and blogs for Dutch medical journals such as Medisch Contact and Zorgvisie.
